Bluestreak is a 'bot whose name betrays his nature. His primary "talent" is talking incessantly about all kinds of inane things - Gears often grumbles that "he truly talks up a blue streak". And once he starts talking, Bluestreak is unlikely to stop in a hurry. Bluestreak’s endless chatter often drowns out those around him, and he often loses his train of thought, going off on tangents and losing track of whatever he was originally talking about. While some Autobots find Bluestreak’s endless conversation to be quite irritating, they mostly agree that Bluestreak is otherwise a wonderfully good-natured ‘bot who often helps to lighten the mood, particularly in some of the bleakest moments of the Cybertronian wars. Most Autobots attribute Bluestreak's endless chatter to anxiety arising from being in the middle of a war, as it is well known that Bluestreak is a reluctant soldier, in spite of his impressive armaments. What fewer Autobots know is that Bluestreak is a 'bot who is haunted by loss and survivor guilt. Bluestreak’s home city of Praxus was wiped out by the Decepticons early in the war; Bluestreak only survived because he was outside the city at the time. Together with a handful of friends who also survived, Bluestreak joined the Autobots, putting his speed and firepower to good use. But as the war went on, Bluestreak's friends were killed in action, one by one, until only Bluestreak himself remained. Bluestreak often asked himself why he survived when the others perished, even blaming himself for not dying instead of his friends. It is only the faith and support of the new friends he has made in the Autobot ranks that keeps Bluestreak going, along with an earnest desire to ensure that the atrocities the Decepticons committed in Praxus - and the tragedies of his own life - are never repeated.

Bluestreak is seen here modelling the Amazon exclusive missile launcher accessories. Amazon Japan offered one of these accessories - just one - with every Bluestreak and Prowl preorder. I make Prowl and Bluestreak stand out a bit by giving Bluestreak the launchers and having Prowl with "clean" shoulders (both Prowl and Bluestreak have the option to deploy these smaller stubby "barrel" launchers, but the Amazon accessories look better). Smokescreen, the third Datsun, has plenty of remolding to make him stand out without any help from additional accessories.
